Magnolias is centrally located in the heart of historic downtown Asheville on the corner of Walnut and Market Street across from the Asheville Community Theatre. Our restaurant overlooks the original (and only remaining) brick street in Asheville. We are within easy walking distance to many retail shops, downtown theatres, art galleries and historic sites. Many local hotels provide free shuttles to downtown and cab service is available within minutes.

Getting Here:

From the South (Asheville Regional Airport), take I-26 West toward Asheville. Get on I-240 East. Take Exit 5A (Merrimon Avenue). At the light, take a Left onto Broadway Street. Take the 2nd Left (Light) onto E. Walnut Street and drive 1 block. Magnolias will be on the corner.
From the Hendersonville Road and Biltmore Forest area, take Hendersonville Road toward Asheville. It changes into Biltmore Avenue when you reach the Biltmore area. Take Biltmore Avenue all the way into downtown. Pass by the BB&T Building, take a Right onto E. Walnut Street (Mellow Mushroom is on the corner).
From the East (Black Mountain), take I-40 East toward Asheville. Take exit 53B which is I-240 West. Take exit 5A (Merrimon Avenue). At
the light, take a Left onto Broadway Street. Take the 2nd Left (Light)
onto E. Walnut Street and drive 1 block. Magnolias will be on the
corner.

Dinner is served from 5:00 - 10:00 (these hours are extended or shortened based on season).
WINTER: The kitchen is CLOSED Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday evenings. The bar is open.
Friday / 11:30am - 2:00am / Live Band starts at 10pm

Parking:
- Private Parking - Free parking after 5pm is available in two private lots close to Magnolias - the parking lot between Magnolias
and Vincenzo's Restaurant or the parking lot on Market Street ......

- Metered Parking - Monday through Saturday from 8am - 6pm you can use the metered parking on the streets ($1.00 for 1 hour, up to 2 hours). Metered parking is free after 6pm, Sundays and holidays.
- Civic Center City Parking Garage - 3 blocks from Magnolias is the Civic Center City Parking Garage located at Haywood and Rankin Streets. The first hour is free and then .50 - .75 cents per hour after that.
